Vision: So, this is the first game I have critiqued, so take that for what it is. I do, however, see some potential here.
Originality: Now, don't get me wrong when I say that there are a lot of dressup games on the internet, so yours can- and probably will- get lost in amongst them. My main gripe is the fact that there aren't all that many clothes to choose from, and that limits the replayability of it somewhat. Also, a snap-to feature would have been nice, just so that the clothes would cling to a certain area of Fluttershy's body instead of having to be manually lined up.
Technique: Technique is fine, if a little bit samey. The design on the clothes and on Fluttershy herself are great, and I do like the more artsy visual style. The background, howeveer, could use a bit more pizzazz. For the next version, maybe have it set in Carousel Boutique.
Impact: Like I said, there are a lot of these types of games floating around on the internest, so I can't honestly say that this will sticjk with me for long, mainly because it is your average, run-of-the-mill dressup game.
Overall: A good first step, if let down somewht by a lack of choices and a bit of a predictable saetup. I understand that this is just a prototype, so I am anxious to see what you do for the next version. Feel free to comment if you disagree, and check out my group #Equestrian-Archive if you get the chance.
as of right now, it is put together really well. The drawing is a little bit on the choppy side. Might I suggest smoothing it out? Also, with some things, like the neck scarf, I couldn't figure out where to put it at first, so I was trying to figure out where to put it. I would make it look more like an actual scarf, rather than it looking like a leg warmer and just letting people just guess what it is.
With the socks, may I suggest putting a dent in the back where the back leg comes up? It seems a bit weird when you put them on because they cut off the back hoof.
On the plus side, it is turning out beautifully. I really wish people would make more of these. They're really fun and creative and you never see them. Your artwork is amazing and I can tel you have put a lot of effort into making this. I can't wait to see the finished product! I know it's gonna look amazing!
Again, it's a prototype, because some people were demanding to see it and I didn't have much done. In the full version, I'm going to probably add a second pony, a lot more options, colors, faces, designs, etc. About the sizing, it may be due to the resolution of your screen. It fits more than perfectly on mine, and I haven't gotten any complaints so far. Sorry, I can't do anything about it. :<
